    The mechanical integrity, safety, and cost-effective operation of plants depend on the in-service performance of the materials of construction throughout the plant life cycle.

    This 5 day course provides practical understanding of engineering materials, guidance on the methods, best industry practices, code requirements, and least life cycle costs over the entire plant life.

Course Overview

    The Course addresses four key areas across the five days. It starts with the fundamentals of the components of piping, including pipes, fittings, flanges, valves, and other components and then moves onto piping materials.

    Once there is an understanding of the fundamentals, we begin to look at the key considerations for piping design and construction. Emphasis will be placed on proper material selection and specification of piping systems. Codes and standards for design, materials, fabrication, erection, test and inspection of piping systems will be covered in detail.

    Piping engineers who are intended to be involved in engineering and design of process plant piping design in consulting companies as well as develop, operate and maintain in process industries.
