Do your teams realize the importance of optimal efficiency during the execution of Turnarounds?
This highly interactive course is designed to provide existing and aspiring Turnaround Supervisors with the tools and skills to become effective front-line Supervisors whom are driven by efficiency while in parallel, ensure that tasks required by small group trade operatives is tracked, communicated and completed successfully.
Participants will learn how to achieve the responsibilities of a Turnaround Supervisor including working safely and identifying potential hazards, managing change and working and communicating with their teams and other work groups.
The course will cover how the Supervisor can optimize efficiency of his work group through forward planning and how to make the most of his schedule lookahead by addressing both critical path and minimum float activities.
Participants will learn the importance of communication including progress updating as well as intergroup communications. Participants will learn the difference between progress, efficiency and productivity and learn how to measure each.
Candidates will learn how to effectively contribute to Turnaround lessons learned and report writing and provide assessments to their teams.
