International Women’s Day
March 8th 2021
Meet Fatimah Al Saif
Reflecting on my four years experience as a female instrumentation and control engineer in Worley, I can honestly say that I am proud of how fast I grew and developed in a short period of time.
When I first joined, I was among a group of twenty females who engaged in two full weeks of continuous training at Worley Academy, this included design software, quality, safety, engineering and personal development training.
I quickly became heavily involved in several projects and gradually was assigned challenging tasks and more responsibilities. Through this, I was able to complete the Professional Development Programs for graduates under the supervision of my mentors and with the support from the Academy.
As my career progresses, I continue to participate in a wide range of courses offered by the Academy virtually, during the pandemic.
The Academy is a great venue where we can exchange knowledge, experiences and inspire females in their engineering careers.
