Myles O’Connor | General Manager
Myles joined the Academy as General Manager in 2017, bringing with him over 20 years of professional learning and development experience. He is responsible for the Academy’s strategy, day to day operations and ensures training delivery excellence with a constant focus on the customer. Myles passion is to improve performance through increased workforce capability
Highlights of his career have included running a Government learning and development department delivering training to over 250,000 people, chairing panels on national competency frameworks, and more recently heading up the regional activities of a prestigious oil and gas engineering training company. He is a regular speaker at conferences and events relating to L&D, engineering, HSE and project management
In his spare time he is a keen traveller, adores the Middle East and Turkey, and spends time each year in Maine.
Jodie O’Rourke | Learning & Development Specialist
Jodie is passionate about making an impact on business performance through building people and organisational capability. With over 15 years industry experience in managing and implementing significant a range of training programs from small specialty teams to global company wide initiatives of 40,000+ employees, she is motivated by seeing individuals and client organisations maximise and exceed their potential.
Her highly analytical, innovative, solution driven style in engaging clients translates into creating learning interventions that ‘treat the cause, rather than the symptom’.
Background and experience include creating training and development programs for project management and delivery, commercial management, project controls, engineering, business systems and processes.
